Tsukiji and Odaiba

Yesterday, after having hard time deciding where to go sightseeing in Tokyo (because my mom and I have ever been to most places already). We decided to go to Tsukiji, the largest fish market in Japan and Odaiba after that. It was my first time to go to Tsukiji and for Odaiba, my second.

btw, I challenged myself to reduce the amount of using Instagram for my blog and go back to Photoshop ;)

Tsukiji, my mom really enjoyed walking there seeing fish

I know this is gross, but it's amazing to see the huge tuna head

it was so crowded that Saturday, full with both local and foreign tourists

Lining up for sushi

I'm loving the counter seats, making sushi must be part of art too!

NOM NOM NOM this chirasi sushi is only 850 yen

yummmyyy and fresh

We walked to Shinbashi from Tsukiji and took the Yurikamome line to Odaiba

Random fact of Odaiba : It is known as one of the best date spot in Tokyo so do not wonder if you see tons of couples there! :)

My new shoes and socks. the socks have bows on the backside

Sunday is soon over and tomorrow is my first day of school! I am always excited ONLY for the first week of school lol. I do enjoy the waku waku (?) feeling of having the first classes, seeing who are in my classes and last deciding to keep or drop the classes!

Spring has come

Sakura blooms as the sign of spring. If you ask me what is the best season in Japan, I'll definitely say it's spring. I live just few meters away from a small long river with sakura trees along so I can observe the blooming process. Today was the full bloom (満開)and my quiet neighborhood has turned into a tourist spot. lol

I've never seen these many people before

I went to see more Sakura yesterday at Kudanshita and visited the Yasukuni Shrine. The Shinto shrine dedicated to soldiers who died during the war. The shrine was having sort of sakura festival.

Dango, only 100 yen

Still in Kudanshita, near the Yasukuni shrine and the station, there's a quite big river which I think part of the imperial palace and there were so many blooming sakura trees there

We walked all the way to Hanzomon station which was close to Omotesando, so we decided to go there.

Kaiten sushi with many english speaking foreigner staff at Omotesando. It was overpriced for its quality.

Limited edition flavor of Jyagariko :)

Sorry for posting so many pictures without any captions / explanations but I guess the pictures speak about themselves quite well!
School is starting this Monday! But I'm still in holiday mood (most likely because my mom is here and will be here until next week)

A bit of Hong Kong, China and Tokyo

After a week being away from blogger. Now I am back with pictures of my working trip to China and Hong Kong, a little bit of Tokyo too.

I've been having a bad luck these days. Hope it's just April fooling me for two days in the row and things will get better tomorrow.

1. First, I came back here with a little money thinking that the money my mom bought at home has been transferred to my bank account here. However it hadn't. My bank account was empty, my phone was cut and I couldn't pay it. Tried to contact the seller but I still received less than half of my money and spent most of them already to pay my rent and phone bill. For the first time I felt how to live without any money and it just felt so terrible.

2. I came back to my tiny apartment after 2 months away and the bathroom gutter was clogged. Good to have my mom coming with me here so she was the one who helped me to fix it.

3. The new toy camera I bought, the new version of Vivitar, wide lens camera from super headz was broken before I even use it. I tried to install a film and it didn't want to roll. I ended up accidentally rolled up my unsed film, I had tried most of the ways to unrolled them without the film picker (learned how to do it from youtube) but none of them was working T.T I still can't use the camera and mailed the company to ask whether I can get the warranty.

I love the fact that I am back to Japan despite all the bad things happened to me recently. I only have 3 terms left being a uni students and I must do my best to treasure every second.

My goals this term would be:
1. Pass JLPT N1 that I just applied today
2. Get a baito
3. Find a summer intern
