A good bye

Last Sunday, my mom went back home after staying 2 weeks here.
I sent her off in Shinjuku, spent 3 hours studying at Starbucks before meeting up with my friends at noon.

If you are following my Instagram: AmeliaSuboko you might have seen all these pics bellow ;)

My first time to be at Shinjuku that early on Sunday.
There weren't many busy people as usual.

Drinking coffee with Rilakkuma :)
It was my first time ordering hot drink! I always prefer cold drinks, but I guess not in the chilly morning.

I feel sad everytime I make a mistake and have to erase it with this Rilakkuma eraser.
Soon it will lose its ear :(

Preparing for N1 and trying to find ideas for my thesis

Met up with Patty and...

Had Subway

Another friend texted me asking to go shopping in Shinjuku. I told her that I was in Shinjuku and asked her to join us :)

Had this milk tea, the best milk tea I've ever had in Tokyo.

3 of us!

My phone went out off battery afterwards.... So no picture of my dinner XD

I did cried a little when I arrived at home. My tiny room felt so empty... Oh well, I'm gonna get used being alone soon and I'll see my mom and my whole family again in December anyway.

Some random pics:

No more sakura :(

Kimchi fried rice I made

Soup curry I had last night

Fish swimming in the sky. Kodomo no hi (the children's day) is coming!
Discovering those fish today brightened my day! :D

My bangs is currently in annoying length and I had a dilemma to cut it or not

I get tired and sleepy so easily these days, no matter how early I went to bed and how long I sleep. I'm even having a light headache now. I think I'm catching a cold.

My last hanami; Arashiyama park

Bored of sakura pictures already? Don't worry this is going to be my last post full with sakura trees, because the real sakura on the trees out there are started falling T.T

Last Monday my noon classes were cancelled, as soon as I got an email telling me that, I brought my mom to Asukayama park at Kita ku.

My camera isn't broken! I was the one who was not smart enough to know how to load the film! XD
can't wait to see the result of my first roll!

A barking dog

I'm having a headache choosing classes this term. I do not need many credits anymore so that is probably why I am so picky this time :(

My mom is leaving in 3 days and I'll be back living alone!!! It's good to have mom here but I haven't been hanging out with my friends simply coz I feel bad leaving her alone at home (I've been such a good daughter, besides going to school, I only left her once for friend's bday yesterday). Now, I am Still thinking where to go sightseeing tomorrow... Wanted to go to Kamakura but I think I'm too tired to go there tomorrow.

Waseda sakura matsuri

There was a sakura festival at my neighborhood last Sunday, it was just a small one though.
My mom and I went there pretty late that most stalls selling food were closed and the only thing left was the performance of grandmas dancing in kimono.

(if you follow my Instagram, you might have seen most of the pictures)

They have an original song for the festival, the lyric was somewhat like "sakura in waseda are blooming~"

We walked along the Kandagawa river towards Edogawabashi afterwards...

looks like a rose but it does not smell so I'm not sure what flower it is.

Went to Ikebukuro for shopping (no picture)

Matcha melon pan I bought at the station. yummy!

Yosakura (night sakura) near my place

last,

fave pic of me taken that day!

fave pic of mom! :D

I'm so tired... tired of school already. I was excited to go back to school but right on the first day, I'm tired of it already.

1. I have a problem with my thesis writing seminar, where I am the only September intake student while others are April students who are going to graduate half year earlier. I never told the professor about it coz I thought she knew about it already but when I told her, she said that she did not want to be my adviser for one and half year and if she had knew this earlier, she would never accept me in the seminar. So it's either I finish my thesis half year earlier or drop that class to find other seminar or even graduate without writing any thesis. I emailed my school office about this but haven't got any reply yet. I am flexible with all the options though. I just want a reply asap!!!!

2. I just hated my elective Japanese class today and couldn't find any better class, so I might stick with it. I start to doubt that I can pass JLPT N1 this July.

3. I think the amount of school fee my parents are paying isn't worth the education I receive. I should have applied for the study abroad program... *sighs*
